Quickstart

MCP connects Nova to external tools and resources through configured servers. The CLI manages server configuration, transport, lifecycle, and tool exposure.

Use the current implementation

Inspect the installed command surface first:
Add or inspect servers using the subcommands shown there. Start with a least-privileged test server and approve only the tools the task needs.

Boundaries and safety

MCP credentials and OAuth state are external secrets. Keep them out of prompts and repositories. A configured server can still be unavailable, unauthenticated, or blocked by policy.
